Trying to Fill His Father's Shoes

I have the boys take off their shoes immediately when they walk in the door for a number of reasons: a) easy to find when you need them; b) cuts down on stuff tracked through the house, especially with Mere hanging out on the floor; c) less tripping occurs when shoes aren't strewn through the house.

Last night I had to ask Charlie many, many times to put his shoes in the bench, which can be frustrating. Finally, on the ninety-ninth time he finally got the idea that I was serious and put his shoes away.

Later, Kevin pointed out to me what he actually did and we both had a good chuckle. That kid is pretty funny.
