Spring Cleaning

We dedicated Saturday to cleaning the house and working on the basement and I have to say, it certainly needed it! Keeping busy is definitely a factor in why it was overdue. This was the first weekend we were home for a significant amount of time for a long while, but we're also not that into spic 'n span living, either! What I came to realize is that even though our house may be a bit dusty at times, and the laundry piles up higher than it should, I'd take the reasons for it any day. I really enjoy spending time with family and friends, taking advantage of nice days outside, and going around town to the special events. If our house has to suffer, it's time for cleaning will come.
