I want to send a shout out of THANKS to Amanda. She informed me that there's a new baby name book out on the market and I wasted no time in grabbing it off the "New Non-Fiction" shelf at the library.
Over the past five years I have become very familiar with the available baby name books out there and very few have gotten me excited like this one has. It is called A if for Atticus and if you haven't already figured it out, it is a book of all names literary. From books. Atticus Finch is the father character in one of my favorite books, To Kill A Mockingbird.
Even if your mantra isn't "So many books, so little time," as she says in the introduction of her book, it is a neat place to look up names that have some background and significance in our culture (at least, in my opinion).
Again, thank you, Amanda! It is getting much, much easier to narrow down the choices :)
