Louie had a wonderful 6th birthday party with his friends but here is an even better story about a boy's wish to become a superhero coming true. Big time.
(I'm not going to lie--it'll have you in tears.)

Validation
This post doesn't deal directly with the boys.
There are many of us who are going through some tough times and often we feel as though we are drowning in the situation. For me, I can often look to my boys' silliness and sweetness to make me feel better, to get my mind off of pressing issues.
Sometimes the littlest things can help. They bring to mind that all of us have the ability to bring a smile to those around us. And although it is just a smile, sometimes that's all we need to get through it.
If you have a minute...or fifteen, please watch this.

Something to think about
I saw this one-minute video and thought you might enjoy it, too.

P.S. It brought tears to my eyes. Give me a break--I'm pregnant :)

Mrs. K is the Smartest Woman Alive
I forgot to add that when we were at the zoo I was telling Amanda that the boys were acting BONKERS all day and I wasn't sure if it was a good idea to take them out in public or stay at home and lock them in their room. She said her boys were the same way.
Then she proceeds to tell me that her mom (who is a teacher) always blamed her students' crazy behavior on the barometric pressure. Sure enough, that night and the entire next day it poured. Cats and dogs all over the place. That lady sure knows what she's talking about!
