I have been trying to keep Louie and Benny quiet so Charlie can get some rest, to recover from this cold. Not much has worked. They are all geared up for one reason or another, and Benny's "indoor voice" seems more appropriate in a construction zone. No surprises there.
I cut out pictures of toys out of ads and we sat down to make our lists to Santa. They only had a paper so big, so this was more successful than the letting them go through a catalog and make arrows pointing to what they'd like. However, it went way to quickly and I ran out of things to do quietly.
Brushing teeth would be quiet, don't you think? Except when you have a 3 and 4-year-old doing it. Loud, wet, and the potential for broken objects. Charlie isn't going to get much rest today.

Preschool boys equals no inner monologue and no volume below a shout.
